These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website.

Definitions

References in these terms and conditions to "we", "our" and "us" are to ScreenDepot, 20 Fletcher Gate Nottingham NG1 2FZ.
References to "you" and "your" are to the person using this website and/or placing an order.
References to "product" and "item" are to a product displayed for sale on this website.

Privacy Policy

When you agree to these terms and conditions you also agree to our Privacy Policy, therefore please read our Privacy Policy to learn about how we handle your personal information.

Product information

We always aim to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right not to accept orders where product information has been inaccurately published, including prices.

Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and texture of our products that appear in the product images on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor will accurately reflect the colour and texture of the product on delivery.

All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible.

If you have received a product and do not wish to accept it, because you find it to be different from the product described on the website, you may cancel your order and return the product to us in accordance with our Returns Policy and within the 7 working days notification period as set out in our Returns Policy.

Products are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we will notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock items.

Prices published on the website are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason including, but not limited to, product availability, incorrect product price or description error.

Order process

After you have placed an order on our website, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from ScreenDepot. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that the product has been dispatched. The contract between you and us will only be formed when we dispatch the product to you and not before. The contract is not formed at the point in time that payment has been taken from you by us, nor at the point in time that you receive an email from us acknowledging receipt of your order. Until the items are dispatched to you the order may not be accepted by ScreenDepot.

We reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason including, but not limited to:

  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
  • The product you ordered is out of stock.
  • The identification of an error within the product information, including pricing error.
  • Failed customer validation checks.

If your order has not been accepted by us, we will cancel your order, notify you by email and, where payment has already been taken from you, we will issue a full refund back to your original payment method.

Payment

We accept payment by Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express and PayPal.

By using a credit/debit card to pay for your order, you confirm that the card being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

All payments to us, including by credit card and debit card, are processed by PayPal on our behalf. At the end of the checkout process, you'll be redirected to PayPal's secure servers to provide your card details and to complete your transaction. Credit and debit cards details will be handled and stored by Paypal and not by ScreenDepot. At the end of the payment process, you'll have the option to return to our website. You will receive a receipt for your payment from PayPal to the email address you have provided. You will also receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order, with a status update.

Delivery

Where do we deliver?

We deliver all across the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Scottish offshore. We also deliver to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

Standard UK delivery

For Standard UK delivery the items will be delivered within 3-5 working days from the order date.
Cost: £3.90 for all items ordered together.
Deliveries will take place Monday to Friday between 7.30am-7pm, excluding bank holidays. For small parcels, Royal Mail may also deliver on Saturday.

Standard UK delivery only applies for deliveries to UK mainland. It excludes the following territories: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish offshore, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly (all these territories have a separate delivery method).

Free standard UK delivery

Free standard UK delivery is available for orders over £50.
The items will be delivered within 3-5 working days from the order date.

Free delivery only applies on deliveries to UK mainland (not including Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Scottish offshore, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly).

For delivery to territories not included in the Standard UK Delivery, the following delivery methods are available:

The delivery charge for all the above (non Standard UK) delivery methods is calculated as follows:
Shopping basket total weight under 3kg: £8.90 for the delivery.
Shopping basket total weight over 3kg: £8.90 + £0.60 for every additional kg.

For all the above delivery methods the items will be delivered within 3-5 working days from the order date.

Confirming your delivery charge

When you continue through the checkout process and after you have provided your postcode in the Delivery Information stage of the checkout, you will be able to see in the Delivery Method stage your exact delivery charge (or £0 if it's free), based on the postcode you have provided for delivery, the shopping basket subtotal price (for free delivery) and items weight (for some delivery methods).
You will be able to confirm the delivery charge before you place your order.

Returns and cancellations

If you change your mind

If you have changed your mind and would like to cancel your order and return a product, you can do so in accordance with the
Distance Selling Regulations, provided that:

  • You notify us of your decision in writing within 7 working days from the day of delivery.
  • The product has not been used or installed or had any data inputted.
    Its condition must be 'as new' when returned.
  • The product is being returned in its original, undamaged packaging, while the package is sealed.
  • It must include all accessories, parts, documentation and labels in the same condition as received.
  • Products that include computer software, audio or video recordings, DVDs, CDs, can only be returned if their packaging has not
    been unsealed.

To return a product under this policy, please notify us in writing within 7 working days from the day of delivery, by choosing the option 'Returns and Refunds' in the Contact Us facility on our website.

Follow the instructions on how to return an item.

Once we have received the item back, in accordance with the above conditions, we will issue a full refund for the product and for the initial delivery charge (when all items are returned) to your original payment method. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Please allow 28 days from the day the returned item is delivered for your refund to be processed.

If you received an incorrect item

If you have received an incorrect item, please notify us as soon as possible within 48 hours of delivery, by using the option 'Problem with item received' in the Contact Us facility on our website. The item should be returned unused in its original packaging along with all accessories, documentation and all labels and tags still attached. Please do not unwrap plastic bags or remove labels if you have received an incorrect item.

Once the item is returned, we will then give you an exchange or full refund. We will reimburse you for your return delivery cost (in a sum equal to the initial delivery charge + £2 and not less than £4). If we'll issue a refund for the product, instead of exchange, it will include also a refund for the initial delivery charge (when all items are returned).

If you received a damaged product

If you have received a visibly damaged product, please notify us as soon as possible within 48 hours of delivery, by using the option 'Problem with item received' in the Contact Us facility on our website. The item should be returned unused in its original packaging along with all accessories, documentation and all labels and tags still attached. Please do not unwrap plastic bags or remove labels if you notice the product is visibly damaged upon delivery.

Once the item is returned, we will then give you an exchange or full refund. We will reimburse you for your return delivery cost (in a sum equal to the initial delivery charge + £2 and not less than £4). If we'll issue a refund for the product, instead of exchange, it will include also a refund for the initial delivery charge (when all items are returned).

A faulty product

If you have just received the product and you suspect it might be faulty, the first thing we advise is to read the troubleshooting section
of the product manual, since it may be a common issue that can be easily resolved. Especially in electronic products, you may want
to make sure you apply the correct settings in order for the product to be fully optimised.

If the issue still cannot be resolved and you find the product to be faulty, you can return the product back to us within 21 days from the day of delivery and we'll offer you a replacement or full refund.
To inform us about a faulty item you would like to return, please use the option 'Problem with item received' in the Contact Us facility
on our website and specify the fault.

The item should be returned in its original packaging along with all accessories and documentation.
Once we have received the product and verified it is indeed faulty, we'll issue a replacement product or full refund to you via your original payment method. We will reimburse you for your return delivery cost (in a sum equal to the initial delivery charge + £2 and not less than £4). If we'll issue a refund for the product, instead of a replacement product, it will include also a refund for the initial delivery charge (when all items are returned).

If you have had the product for more than 21 days and it has developed a fault, it will be covered in most cases by the manufacturer guarantee, which ensures that as long as the guarantee period hasn't expired (most products have at least 1 year guarantee period), you are entitled by the manufacturer for either a repair or a replacement product.

How to return an item

  • Use the Contact Us facility on our website to request a return. Don't forget to include in your request the order number, which item you wish to return and the reason for the return.
  • We will email you an RMA number (return merchandise authorisation number) along with instructions confirming where to send the specific item to. Returns will only be accepted with a valid RMA number.
  • Please repack the item securely inside its original packaging along with all accessories and documentation.
  • Place the original packaging in a parcel. Include inside a note with your name, address and order number, and secure the parcel.
  • Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the return parcel, along with the delivery address.
    The RMA number you have received is valid for a period of 14 days so make sure we'll receive your parcel in time to process the return. We will only be able to process returns that arrive with a valid RMA number on the parcel.
  • Post the parcel at the Post Office (or through other recorded delivery) and make sure you obtain and retain proof of postage for the recorded delivery in case your parcel is lost in transit. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned items if they haven't been delivered to us.
  • Once we have received your return, we will process and check the product and, where applicable, issue a refund back to your original payment method. Please allow 28 days from the day the returned item is delivered for your refund to be processed.

Cancellation before delivery

To cancel an order before it has been dispatched for delivery, please notify us by using the option 'Order cancellation' in the Contact
Us facility on our website. We will then issue a full refund back to your original payment method.

Your account

To access your account information on our website, you will need to input your email and password details (login details).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and the password, and for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you use a shared computer, please ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session.

You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details.

Intellectual property

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of our website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.

You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may (if necessary to make a purchase) download such material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose. Any other use of the material and content of the website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

General

No delay or failure by us in exercising or enforcing any of our rights or remedies under these terms and conditions shall operate as a waiver of those rights.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you agree that in the event of a dispute the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update and change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to you. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the Terms and Conditions page on our website. The changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.

These terms and conditions, including the documents or other sources referred to in these terms and conditions, supersede all prior representations, understandings and agreements between you and us relating to the use of this website (including the order of products) and sets forth the entire agreement and understanding between you and ScreenDepot for your use of this website.
